Expanding our service based on customer demand. We are pleased to offer the Centrado Chop service for our entire wooden moulding range. It is a fast, efficient, and quality service allowing framers flexibility to use
the service for one-off non-stocked items or mouldings you would just rather not cut in-house. Our skilled production team cuts chop frames on high-precision saws, carefully checking the moulding for any imperfections – all part of our Quality Promise. It can even reduce your stock levels as we hold the stock, and you simply choose your chop sizes and quantities so there is less wastage and handling too. All are delivered to you via our delivery team to ensure a timely and safe arrival right to your workshop. Only available from our Fenstanton depot.

Frequently Asked Questions
We cut the frame to the ‘glass size’ and the measurements you provide.
Glass size is the size of the piece of glass that will sit in the rebate of your frame. This will also be the size of your mounted artwork. All sizes are in mm. We cut the frame to 'glass size' on the Chop Service.
If you require us to add a 2mm fitting tolerance to the size you give us, please tick the box. This will allow flexibility when fitting the backing board, mountboard, and glass. Do not add tolerance if you intend to use the moulding as a spacer’.
Give us the internal measurements of the tray frame you want to make. This would be the size of the canvas plus any shadow gap you want to create between the canvas and the frame.
The chop price includes a labour element for cutting the frame and the wastage.
