The Centrado Customer Day was an opportunity to show our appreciation for your valued custom, plus providing a platform for like minded people in the industry to get together. The agenda featured a blend of industry specific presentations and updates and the chance to meet and question manufacturers of key brands in the framing industry. But mostly we hoped to deliver an entertaining and enjoyable day out. The event was completely free to all invited Centrado customers.

We are joined by two representatives from the Artglass factory in Riga, Latvia who will update us on the future plans for this important product. Look out for the unique promotional offers on Artglass AR70 available to attendees.

Sir Geoff Hurst

Sir Geoff Hurst secured a unique place in the history of football when he became the first and, over 45 years later, still the only player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup Final.

Knighted in 1998 and inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2004, Sir Geoff holds a special place in the hearts of football fans and has become an iconic sporting figure.


2019 Trends – Presentation by Interior Designer – Gwendoline Alderton – “an insight into the trends that will be hot for the year ahead and how they translate into moulding designs”.

“Gwendoline is a professional interior designer (registered with the British Institute of Interior Design) and has her own design practice, GA Interiors. She creates stylish, elegant and healthy residential homes that have been published in national interior magazines. As a sought after conference and event speaker, Gwendoline talks on the specialist topics of Interior Design Trends and Health In The Home. Her interior design book has recently been published: A Home to Cherish (Create Your Stylish & Healthy Home).”

Lean Manufacturing – Presentation from Lester Troughton, Business Development Manager at TXM Lean Solutions- “the application of Lean processes in picture framing”.

“Lester Troughton is the Business Development Manager at TXM Lean Solutions wiith over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and coaching in lean laboratory, manufacturing and service environments. Lester has also worked extensively with production managers and shift operators to maintain product quality and understands the challenges of 24-hour lean manufacturing environment having worked with major global accounts including JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) facility in Coventry, and Siemens, Hull.”

Marketing in the 21st Century – Presentation from Chris Burton, one of the team at The Marketing Centre – “how branding can improve the growth of your business”.

“Chris has grown businesses and brands for international corporates, start-up’s, family run and small businesses.  He has worked across a diverse range of markets, from retail and consumer packaged goods to travel, leisure, construction and professional services.
